Born in Jaén, Spain, Marta studied Fine Art in Granada, Andalusia and studied an MA in illustration, now her work wins recognition worldwide. Whether it be botanical illustrations or the portrayal of animals and people, her illustrations exhibit a careful solid base in draughtsmanship combined acutely with a subtle intuition for colour, mixed both by hand and digital.
