11 Jul 2012 - Jess Wilson / Print Club London

Make a date in your diary: Jess Wilson is showing some brilliant new work at Blisters: The Directors Cut. Not only that, but she's also designed a brilliantly iconic poster advertising the event. The show will exhibit fourty original screenprints by fourty artists based on the theme of cinema, priced at £40 per print for those film aficionados out there. 10 Jul 2012 - Alice Stevenson / James Long Book Covers

Alice Stevenson has redesigned not one, but two of James Long's book covers for Quercus: 'Ferney' and 'The Lives She Left Behind'. With beautiful composition and natural form she frames the central figures on either cover. 9 Jul 2012 - Peter James Field / Artmagic Album and Single

Excellent work by Peter James Field on the case of the debut album by Artmagic, 'Become The One You Love' as well as their single, 'Forever in Negative'.  A collaborative project between Richard Oakes, lead guitarist and co-writer in Suede, and producer / vocalist Sean McGhee.  Peter's work intuitively matches the intricate and contemplative atmosphere of the music.  See these designs and other work here.

9 Jul 2012 - Charles Williams / Conqueror Typographic Games

Congratulations to Charles Williams for a Commendation in the Arjowiggins 'Conqueror Typographic Games' competition, in which designers and illustrators were asked to make a typographic poster in prep for those all important Olympic Games featuring the phrase 'It's not how you win, but how you conquer it'.
A jury chaired by French type designer Jean Francois Porchez and featuring CR editor Patrick Burgoyne among others, picked the winners from over 1,700 entries from more than 60 countries.
