23 Aug 2012 - Qixi Festival / Nowness

Asako Masunouchi, Jirayu Koo and Jonny Wan were commissioned by Nowness to create a celebratory image for Chinese Valentines Day, the Qixi Festival.  Pulling on their own interpretation of the myth of Altair and Vega, alongside their own bittersweet or romantic memories the three images make up a handful of commissions from international artists.   Already the go to platform for all things happening and luxury, Nowness launched a Chinese-language version of the site earlier in 2012.

21 Aug 2012 - Burton Hi-Five Series Handwear

Soon enough the ski season will be upon us and what better way to protect your hands from the bitter cold and ice then these brightly coloured, geometric gloves and mitts featuring artwork from none other than our very own Jonny Wan!
Developed for Burton's Hi-Five series of handwear, Jonny has adorned these snowboarding gloves with his fantastic geometric patterns. Reminiscent of Scandinavian winter knitting patterns but with a digital edge, they work brilliantly brightening up the regular mundane outdoor glove. Check out the gloves on the Burton site or see more from Jonny's portfolio here.

17 Aug 2012 - Sierra Mag

Charles Williams has been commissioned for the cover of Sierra's Clubs annual 'Ten Coolest Schools' issue of Sierra magazine.  Turning his hand to his 3D crafted style, with little added digital wizardry, Charles has created a stonker of a cover. Behind the scenes snaps here, or, for more from Charles' portfolio click here.

8 Aug 2012 - Metro Adidas Campaign featuring Louis Smith

Olympics' sponsor Adidas has been running cover wraps around freesheet Metro every day of London 2012 games and our very own Charles Williams has illustrated silver Medalist Louis Smith! Commissioned by The Church Of London, Charles set about representing Smith  - "Gymnastics is a very precise sport, so I wanted my portrait of Louis Smith to reflect this - very geometric and symmetrical …showing him as a focused and driven individual, determined to succeed."  And that he did! Look out for free giveaway limited edition prints of Charles' image at selected London Adidas stores.  More from Charles here.
